Not so great place for solo travelers

I had a decent experience with the staff. they really tried to help me out when I reported my heating issue in the room. They came right away and gave me a space heater. It was a nice touch for a cold night.

Felt a bit pricey for what I got, but it was manageable.

However, cleanliness was a significant issue—our first room had crumbs and a toothpick under the mattress, while my in-laws found nut shells and half-empty water bottles in theirs. After an extended wait, we were moved to a better room, yet the overall experience fell short of expectations.

Comfortable stay with great pet options

I had a nice stay during my visit. The room was clean, and I loved the grassy areas outside for my pet to enjoy. The ample parking made things easy for someone on the road like me. However, I think the breakfast options could use some improvement to enhance the experience.

So I booked this place thinking I was getting a driver discount, but nope! They charged me way more than quoted. The clerk was kinda rude when I called to ask about it. Also, the room wasn’t really clean, and I had to deal with some sugar ants. At least there's a nice snack bar nearby.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, excellent breakfast options made my stay enjoyable, especially being able to toast my gluten-free bread while enjoying the hot meal before heading out for the day.

This was just a top selection for a brief stop-in in Walcott with great value for money. The Pilot gas station nearby had the best prices for gas before heading east. Make sure to grab a meal at Grandma's Kitchen for some good home-style food.
